Though Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie is currently rehabbing a partially torn ACL, the talented veteran is still garnering interest on the trade market.
“The Detroit Pistons are among the teams who have had interest in acquiring Spencer Dinwiddie from the Nets, per SNY sources,” Ian Begley of SNY.tv wrote.
Interestingly, Dinwiddie first entered the NBA with the Pistons. He played his first two seasons in the league with the organization.
This season, Dinwiddie played in just three games before he went down with the knee injury.
He was averaging a paltry 6.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
However, last season, he proved how productive he could be when playing major minutes.
He averaged 31.2 minutes per game last season and averaged 20.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest.
Dinwiddie has a $12.3 million player option for the 2021-22 season.
