Former NFL star receiver Josh Gordon is headed back to the gridiron.
The talented yet troubled receiver will reportedly join the Fan Controlled Football league. He’ll be playing with former Cleveland Browns teammate Johnny Manziel on the FCF Zappers.
In his NFL career, Gordon caught 247 balls for 4,252 yards and 20 touchdowns.
He won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots despite not playing in the game.
At 29 years old, it will be interesting to see how much Gordon has left in tank, though his natural ability was never a concern. Instead, his inability to adhere to the NFL’s substance abuse policies is what led him to his numerous suspensions during his time in the NFL.
Hopefully, he manages to stay on the field now that he has found a new league to call home.
