Draymond Green calls young players in NBA ‘soft as hell’ for trying to be his friends

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is known as one of the best enforcers in the NBA.

However, his attempts to talk trash to some of the NBA’s younger players has yielded confounding results for the veteran.

Green recently appeared on former teammate Kevin Durant’s podcast and admitted that he’s having trouble talking trash to the league’s youngsters.

Green, of course, was a key member of the Warriors dynasty that won three championships in four seasons.

They appeared in five straight championship series.

This season, Green is averaging 6.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game. He’s not quite as dominant as he once was. The same can be said about his team.

Right now, the Warriors are fighting for their playoff lives. They’re currently at the No. 10 seed in the West with a record of 24-27.

Green will likely continue to use his fiery competitiveness to try to get an edge over his opponents. Though it seems as though the younger players in the league won’t be responding in kind.
