He is currently in his 22nd NBA campaign, and last season, he averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game while establishing a career high in 3-point accuracy. His longevity has become the stuff of legends, and no other NBA player has ever played at this high a level at age 39.
He has won four NBA championships, and this past summer, he played a key role in Team USA winning yet another Olympic gold medal as he was named the MVP of the Olympic tournament.

A number of fans have named their children after sports legends. According to a report, LeBron was the ninth-most popular sports-inspired baby name from 2020 to 2021. First on the list was Kobe, a name that has been popular for years thanks to the success of late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.
Speaking of sons, James got to make NBA history by playing with his son Bronny in a game at the same time on Tuesday when the Lakers began their regular season. Los Angeles defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in that game and hasn’t lost since, with the team currently sitting at 3-0.
The younger James is expected to start to move back and forth between the Lakers and the G League starting soon.
