The Los Angeles Clippers are now 35-18 on the 2020-21 season after beating the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night.

The Clippers are now the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, but not everyone seems to believe in them, especially Charles Barkley.

“I’ve been poor,” Barkley said following their win over the Suns. “I’ve been rich. I’ve been fat. I’ve been skinny. I’ve been old. I’ve been in the Hall of Fame. And one thing I can always tell you, the Clippers have always sucked.”

Barkley has a reason to be skeptical, as the Clippers did blow a 3-1 series lead against the Denver Nuggets in last year’s Western Conference semifinals.

Still, Los Angeles has had another year to improve its roster and chemistry around stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

For now, the Clippers look like one of the best teams in the West, but there will be a lot of eyes on how this team performs in the postseason.

The Clippers get right back at it today, as they will take on the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m. PST.
