Montrezl Harrell made headlines when he called Luka Doncic a “b—- a– white boy” during Game 3 of the playoff series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

Now, Harrell has come out to admit that he’s been receiving some horrible messages from the worst kind of sports fans in the fallout.

It’s truly sad to see that Harrell has been subjected to such hateful language and sentiment since he talked trash to Doncic on the court.

Doncic and Harrell quickly were able to move past the interaction and showed that there was no ill will between them in the following game.

Harrell’s admission about the types of messages he has received comes on the heels of the league’s players debating whether or not the playoffs should continue at all.

The season was put in jeopardy after the latest police shooting of an unarmed African-American.

As a result, many players worried that their time was not being used best from within the bubble.

Amongst the two teams that were reportedly willing to sacrifice the season to fight for social justice were the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers.

Now that the season has been saved, Harrell and his Clippers will surely look to continue their title bid while fighting for the change they want to see in the world.
