The Los Angeles Clippers arguably overachieved this season, considering the fact that they were without Kawhi Leonard for the entire campaign and Paul George for much of the year.
However, they still lost two games in the play-in tournament and did not manage to earn a playoff spot this year. It marked the end of another anticlimactic season for a team that many believed would win a title when it added Leonard and George a few years ago.
Still, Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti has a lot of faith in the Clippers going forward. In fact, he recently expressed his belief that the Clippers “probably” have the best roster in basketball and “probably” will win multiple titles.
Presti: "I think the Clippers probably have the best roster in basketball and probably will win a title, multiple titles."
Presti said this in context of the Clippers' injuries.

It may seem like an outlandish claim, but the fact that the Clippers enjoyed any success at all this season is a major testament to the talent on their roster.
Norman Powell is a star in the making. Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris, Luke Kennard and Terance Mann have all shown that they are solid players.
While there is no guarantee that the roster will remain fully intact by the time next season begins, it will likely look more or less the same.
If Leonard and George can enter the upcoming season healthy and remain as such all year long, the Clippers could absolutely enjoy a real resurgence.
Whether or not that leads to multiple titles as Presti predicted remains to be seen. NBA fans know all too well how much the Clippers tend to struggle once the playoffs begin. Still, if there was ever a roster to end the franchise’s title drought, next year’s could certainly be the one to do it.
