Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has some very high expectations for his organization over the next few years.

The businessman expects the Clippers to win “some championships” before they move into their new arena in 2024.

Many folks would probably agree that this is a lofty goal from Ballmer, but it’s good to have big aspirations. The Clippers are still searching for their first title in franchise history.

The team has a solid superstar core of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The hope is that the duo will help guide L.A. to a championship in the near future.

The Clippers reached the Western Conference finals in the 2020-21 season, but they ultimately fell to the Phoenix Suns. L.A. has had a difficult time getting over the hump since the organization’s inception.

The new arena will certainly mark the beginning of a new era once the Clippers begin playing there, but it sounds like Ballmer is still keeping the immediate future in mind.
