Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Karl-Anthony Towns recently shared his terrible experience after contracting the novel coronavirus.
In addition, he slammed the NBA for its decision to hold an All-Star Game this season.
Towns, 25, has experienced plenty of horror over the last few months.
Most notably, the big man lost his mother to the terrible virus. In addition, several other family members of his passed away due to COVID-19.
During the offseason, Towns was hit by a drunk driver. The incident left him briefly hospitalized.
The No. 1 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft has barely been able to play this season. As a matter of fact, he’s only competed in five games.
On the season, Towns is putting up 21.2 points, 12.0 boards and 2.2 blocks per contest. The Wolves hold the worst record in the league at 6-19.
