New Orleans Pelicans big man Jaxson Hayes was recently arrested and hospitalized after a brawl with police officers.
A video depicting Hayes getting aggressively tased by cops has stunned viewers. Now, the cops in question are being investigated for the incident.
“On Tuesday, Los Angeles PD Chief Michael Moore announced the department launched an investigation into the arrest after Hayes alleged force was applied to his neck — causing him difficulty breathing,” TMZ reported.
The whole incident occurred in Los Angeles, where police were called to the home following a domestic disturbance call.
The 21-year-old Hayes got into an intense fight with the cops, one of which was also sent to the hospital. The Pelicans center was charged with resisting arrest.
It’s unclear how the rest of the investigation will play out and what ramifications will occur for Hayes.
