Ever since Daryl Morey signed on join the Philadelphia 76ers, fans and experts alike wondered if the former Houston Rockets general manager would target James Harden.

On Tuesday, it was reported that the 76ers are indeed expected to pursue the former MVP.

This is massive news for a Sixers franchise that is still looking to get over the hump and win a title.

Undoubtedly, if Philadelphia wants a realistic shot at acquiring Harden, it would have to be willing to part ways with either Joel Embiid or Ben Simmons.

The pairing of Harden with either Embiid or Simmons would surely be fascinating.

A trade would also signify the beginning of a total rebuild in Houston after years of failing to break through in the Western Conference.

While this report means very little in regards to an actual deal getting done, it is surely something to keep an eye on in the weeks and months ahead.
