According to one NBA player, the reminder of the 2020 postseason is in serious jeopardy.
On Wednesday, the Milwaukee Bucks decided to boycott Game 5 of their first-round series against the Orlando Magic.
The protest was aimed to bring awareness and justice for Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man who was the subject of police brutality in Kenosha, Wis. on Sunday.
Subsequently, the NBA cancelled all of the playoff games that were supposed to take place on Wednesday. The players will meet on Wednesday night to decide what stance they will take for the rest of the season.
Los Angeles Lakers four-time MVP LeBron James already fired a passionate message in the aftermath of the Bucks’ decision to boycott. Numerous other players joined him on social media.
Some players are even thinking about leaving the NBA bubble in Orlando, Fla.
