Kamiah Adams-Beal, the wife of Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal, blasted 2K digital marketing director Ronnie Singh as a “p—-” after her husband received a lower-than-expected rating in NBA 2K22.
The criticism originally began when Beal issued a succinct response of “LOL” after being given a rating of under 90 for the 2K22 edition, with Adams-Beal referring to them as a “joke.”
Beal’s rating was surprising considering that he nearly captured the 2020-21 NBA scoring title by averaging 31.3 points per game and also averaging 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest.
The blunt criticism of Adams-Beal shouldn’t come as a surprise, since she already made news earlier this year in the wake of baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron’s death.
Aaron died in January at the age of 86, just a few weeks after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Adams-Beal then insinuated that the vaccine played a role in the baseball legend’s death, a conspiracy theory that’s shown no credibility.
In this particular instance, Adams-Beal is simply defending her husband, albeit in crude fashion. The easiest way for her husband to prove such rankings wrong is to deliver an even stronger season during the 2021-22 campaign.
