The Cleveland Browns reportedly have agreed to a two-year contract extension with running back Kareem Hunt.
The deal reportedly is worth up to $13.25 million, and Hunt will receive $8.5 million in guaranteed money.
Hunt signed a second-round tender this past offseason to remain in Cleveland.
After serving a suspension for a domestic violence incident, Hunt appeared in eight games for the Browns last season.
He worked mainly as a change-of-pace back behind starter Nick Chubb. Hunt thrived in the role, as he carried the ball 43 times for 179 yards and two touchdowns.
His biggest contribution came in the passing game. Hunt caught 37 passes for 285 yards and a score last season.
Hunt, 25, will now be a part of one of the better running back duos in the NFL for the foreseeable future.
