On Saturday, the Los Angeles Rams handled Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in their wild card playoff game, 30-20.
However, Rams quarterback John Wolford suffered a scare early when he sustained a neck injury and had to be taken to the hospital.
Afterward, head coach Sean McVay gave an optimistic update on Wolford.
Wolford, an undrafted rookie out of Wake Forest University, got the start because Jared Goff is continuing to recover from a thumb injury.
After Wolford got injured, Goff came in and helped lead L.A. to the victory. Although he didn’t play particularly well, he did outplay Wilson, who was harassed into an uncharacteristically bad performance.
The Rams will move on to play either the Washington Football Team or Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round.
