A.J. Brown boasts about using electric bike during Autism Challenge 10K

Philadelphia Eagles superstar receiver A.J. Brown took some time to do a good deed recently when he took part in the Eagles Autism Challenge, which took place on Saturday.

Brown hopped on his bike to take part in the challenge, but his bike provided him an extra boost, literally. Brown was interviewed by local news and jokingly boasted about using an electric bike during the ride.

“I’m feeling real calm, real, real collected,” Brown said with a smile. “As you see, I brought my electric bike. So, I’m working smart not hard.”

Brown then responded to a question about his physical shape.

“I’m in great shape, but this is my off day,” he said.

Brown’s approach to the challenge is both hilarious and intelligent. Surely what matters most in the eyes of the event’s planners is that a player of Brown’s status simply showed up to show his support.

Brown is seen as one of the best wide receivers currently playing in the NFL, and he has been a prime target for star quarterback Jalen Hurts since joining the team prior to the 2022 NFL season.

In his first season with the team, Brown caught 88 passes on 145 targets for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns. He followed that up in the 2023 NFL season with 106 catches on 158 targets for 1,456 yards and seven scores.

He’s been named to the Pro Bowl three times already in his career, and at 26 years old, he’s likely just entering the prime of his career.

For the Eagles, the hope is that Brown’s incredible production and the rest of the top-end talent across the roster will help them get over the hump in the upcoming season. Since winning Super Bowl LII in 2018, the Eagles have gotten close to winning another championship on numerous occasions.

They’ve been to the playoffs in all but one season since their championship, and they played in Super Bowl LVII in an all-time classic against the Kansas City Chiefs. Brown came up huge in that game, recording six catches for 96 yards and a score. Unfortunately for Eagles fans, it wasn’t enough to get the job done against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

This season, Brown and company will surely look to get back to the Super Bowl and enjoy a different outcome this time. While he seems to be enjoying his days off in the remaining days of the offseason, Brown will likely take on a no-days-off mentality as the regular season creeps closer and closer.
