Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has been married to his wife Kylie for six years, and the former clapped back at a troll on X (formerly known as Twitter) for calling his wife a “homemaker.”
Your wife is a homemaker. But you can't support butker. And your wife is a homemaker whose home is a mess. Sorry but it is dirty and messy on television. Seems you're a bit hypocritical. Y'all are going to be left with nothing but swifties. You just ruined your gig. It's a shame.

“Responding to this, because I have seen a number of people say it,” replied Jason Kelce. “I don’t think of Kylie as a homemaker, I think of her as my wife. I think of her as a mother. She has an occupation, as do I, and we keep our house the best we can. Our marriage is a partnership, we are equals who are figuring it out on the daily. The only expectation is that we love each other, support one another, and are committed to our family, that comes first. We both raise our kids, we both work, We both keep our home. It is both our faults it is messy, but such is life with 3 young children, busy schedules, and neither of us being neat freaks. She also makes a mean sandwhich.
“If being a homemaker, works for some, and that’s what they want, then hell yea, that’s awesome, more power to you. I want to be clear, I’m not downplaying that at all, but that is not our family dynamic.”
Jason Kelce announced his retirement from the NFL in a press conference in March of this year.
He spent every one of his 13 seasons in the NFL playing for the Eagles, who drafted him in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft following his three-season stint playing college football at the University of Cincinnati.
Jason Kelce was consistently one of the top centers in the NFL during his stint with the Eagles. He received seven Pro Bowl nods during his playing career as well as six All-Pro nominations.
Arguably one of Jason Kelce’s most valuable abilities as a player was his availability. The 36-year-old appeared in at least 16 games in 11 of his 13 seasons. On top of that, he suited up for 17 games in each of the last three seasons of his career.
But for as impressive as Jason Kelce’s individual accolades are, arguably his most memorable achievement came when he and the Eagles beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl back in February of 2018 by a score of 41-33.
The Eagles are one of only two teams, along with the New York Giants, to beat quarterback Tom Brady — who some believe is the greatest player in the history of the NFL — in a Super Bowl.
For a little while, it seemed as if Jason Kelce had a puncher’s chance of winning his second Super Bowl this year. After all, the Eagles won their first five games of the 2023 regular season.
But after a hot start to the campaign, the Eagles won just six of their final 12 games of the season before dropping their first playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a final score of 32-9.
Jason Kelce’s recent post on X regarding his wife suggests that he has a lot of respect for her and what she provides.
