On Saturday, footage surfaced (formerly Twitter) of what appeared to be Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Terrell Lewis running from OnlyFans model Mia Mercy in order to avoid paying her.

Mercy uploaded footage of the incident to her X account and tagged a number of people in NFL circles.

“We’ve got a runner ladies & gentleman @_Real24_ RUN ME MY MFN MONEY,” she wrote in the caption.

Lewis, 25, did not log a single game during the 2023 regular season but spent the first three seasons of his career — including the 2022 season — with the Los Angeles Rams organization after getting chosen with the No. 84 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. In 11 games (three starts) with the Rams during the 2022 regular season, he totaled 13 combined tackles, nine solo tackles, two tackles for loss, four assisted tackles and three quarterback hits.

Additionally, he defended two passes and came up with one interception in his swan song with Los Angeles.

Lewis’ current contract with the Eagles is for one year and worth just over $1 million.

The former University of Alabama standout’s current team in the Eagles had a defense that left a lot to be desired during the 2023 regular season despite ending up with an 11-6 record, the second-best in the NFC East division. The Eagles allowed opponents to score a whopping 25.6 points per game against them, the third-most of any team in the league ahead of only the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Commanders.

Plus, the Eagles’ defensive woes during the regular season came back to bite them in the team’s playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back on Jan. 15. The Buccaneers dropped a whopping 32 points against the Eagles led by a solid performance from signal-caller Baker Mayfield, who threw for three touchdowns compared to zero interceptions and 337 yards.

It remains to be seen if Lewis will face any repercussions from the NFL or Eagles after his encounter with the OnlyFans model, but the whole incident doesn’t paint him in a positive light. Hopefully Lewis will be able to put this experience behind him once the 2024 regular season commences.
