According to a report, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has requested a trade from the team.

It’s another huge development in an NFL offseason that has been full of twists and turns.

It’ll now be interesting to see if the 49ers accommodate Samuel’s request. If he does get traded, he figures to make a huge impact wherever he lands.

The 26-year-old was named a Pro Bowler in the 2021 season for the first time in his career. It was his third season at the NFL level and certainly his best one so far.

During the season, Samuel racked up 77 receptions, 1,405 receiving yards and six touchdown catches. He also rushed for eight touchdowns.

Time will tell what the future holds for the talented player.
