Sunday’s game between the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers has reportedly been postponed.
The announcement comes just a day after three Titans players and five team personnel members tested positive for COVID-19.
The three players — starting nose tackle DaQuan Jones, long snapper Beau Brinkley and practice squad tight end Tommy Hudson — have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
On Wednesday, Tennessee had another positive test, likely leading to the NFL’s decision to postpone Sunday’s contest.
It is the first outbreak of COVID-19 in the NFL this season.
Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell tested positive prior to the team’s game in Week 3, but there have been no other reported positive tests.
The Titans and the Steelers are both 3-0 this season.
