Golden State Warriors star big man Draymond Green is getting closer to making a return to the lineup, as he is reportedly expected to return to the team’s facility in the near future.
Green will miss his 11th game tonight and conversations are still ongoing about when he will return from the suspension, sources said. His return is getting closer, though. https://t.co/X4HzP5cXb3

Green has been serving an indefinite suspension ever since he swung at Phoenix Suns player Jusuf Nurkic on Dec. 12. The Warriors lost that game against the Suns by three points.
The 33-year-old has played all 12 seasons of his NBA career with the Warriors franchise and is averaging 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists while shooting 42.9 percent from 3-point range across 15 appearances with Golden State so far during the 2023-24 regular season.
The Warriors have treaded water in the Western Conference standings in Green’s absence. Golden State owns a 16-17 record on the season, which is the 11th-best in the conference.
The team won its most recent game against a formidable opponent in the Orlando Magic on Jan. 2, however. Star point guard Stephen Curry helped lead the Warriors to a six-point victory at home.
In 35 minutes of action, Curry dropped 36 points, six assists and four steals while shooting 12-of-20 from the field and 4-of-9 from behind the 3-point line.
Jonathan Kuminga also played well for Golden State. He chipped in 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks while shooting 7-of-14 from the floor in 34 minutes of playing time.
Curry, Kuminga and the Warriors will play their next game against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night. After winning the NBA title a season ago, the Nuggets once again look like one of the best teams in the NBA this season.
The Nuggets hold the third-best record in the Western Conference at 24-11 and have been playing arguably their best basketball of the season of late, as evidenced by their 8-2 record over their last 10 games.
The Warriors have been without arguably their best defensive player in Green for over two weeks and will be without him against the Nuggets. But Adrian Wojnarowski’s report indicates that his return to the court is on the horizon.
