The basis for Durant’s angry remarks stems from past criticisms by Rapaport, with this latest jab obviously getting under the superstar’s skin. Rapaport initially went after Durant due to a blunt response to Charles Barkley’s question on “Inside the NBA.”

In addition to the remarks directed at Rapaport’s wife, Durant also appeared to be angling to fight Rapaport. Such actions tend to be routine for media-based feuds, which means that the chances of such a scuffle taking place appear to be limited, at best.

Prior to this situation, Durant has claimed that controversial posts on his social media accounts were the result of being hacked. Given the misogynistic and homophobic aspects of his comments, he may end up speaking with officials from the NBA over his remarks.
