Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum contracted the novel coronavirus earlier this season.
While Tatum is back on the court now, he recently explained how lingering complications related to the virus have impacted his game.
Tatum, 22, is one of many NBA players who have contracted the virus.
Houston Rockets big man Christian Wood said he felt like he was going to die while battling the dangerous virus.
As for Tatum, he missed numerous games as a result of the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Although he says his game has been altered, he still is having a terrific campaign.
As a matter of fact, Tatum is putting up a career-high 25.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game this season. The Celtics hold a 13-13 record.
The Celtics are reportedly looking for free agent centers who have recently recovered from COVID-19.
