Pierce, a future Hall of Famer who played the bulk of his career with the Boston Celtics, currently serves as an ESPN analyst.

Two current NBA players, Kyle Kuzma and Bradley Beal, offered their own social media comments on his actions.

Exactly why the 43-year-old Pierce chose to post the video is unknown. That’s because it likely puts his employer in the uncomfortable position of having to respond to his actions.

As of right now, ESPN has yet to offer any response to Pierce’s video, though the footage is controversial enough that a statement seems inevitable.
