Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley has left the NBA bubble in Orlando, Fla. due to an emergency, according to Malika Andrews of ESPN.
Beverley isn’t the first player that has left the bubble due to a personal matter. Just last week, both New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson and Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell, Beverley’s teammate, had to leave the bubble for family emergencies.
It is unknown when exactly Beverley will be rejoining the Clippers.
So far this season, the 32-year-old is averaging 7.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 27.1 minutes per game.
The Clippers’ first official game back during the restart will be on July 30 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The team currently sits in second place in the Western Conference with a record of 44-20.
