After rumors circulated that Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo wanted to leave Wisconsin, he recently signed a five-year contract extension to remain in the Badger State.

However, his girlfriend is disappointed in the state of Wisconsin, and it has nothing to do with basketball.

The novel coronavirus pandemic continues to rage out of control around the nation. The upper Midwest, including Wisconsin, has been hit particularly hard, especially in the fall months.

Even if Antetokounmpo’s significant other is not happy with her fellow Wisconsinites, her boyfriend is continuing to do what he does on the basketball court.

He’s averaging 27.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game so far this season, which are certainly MVP-caliber numbers. Antetokounmpo, of course, is the NBA’s two-time reigning regular season MVP.

Compared to what they did the past two seasons, the Bucks have been a little bit of a disappointment, as they only hold a 10-6 record. However, no one seems to be counting them out of the race for the Eastern Conference come playoff time.
