The wife of Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley reportedly has filed for divorce from the NBA player.

Montana Yao filed for the divorce from Beasley after he was spotted with Larsa Pippen, an insider told E!’s Elyse Dupre.

“Montana filed for a divorce the day she saw the photos,” the insider told E!. “Montana never cheated, and it’s not in her character. She’s not dating anybody. She’s a family person. She’s focusing on taking care of her son with her parents. They are quarantining together. Her son is her first priority.”

Beasley and Yao were married in March of this year.

Beasley had recently signed a big extension with the Timberwolves, but his actions appear to have cost him his marriage.

Pippen, the ex-wife of former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen, got divorced in 2019.

Beasley came to Minnesota in a trade last season.

He averaged 20.7 points and shot 42.6 percent from 3-point range in 14 games with the Timberwolves.
