According to a report, three-time All-Star Ben Simmons could report to the Philadelphia 76ers “in the near future.”
It was reported a few days ago that the Sixers remained in contact with Simmons’ agent over the possibility of a return, and it sounds like the two sides have made progress in their discussions.
This is a very interesting development in the situation. Not long ago, Simmons seemed adamant about never playing another game for the organization.
The former first-round pick has seemingly burned many bridges with folks within the Sixers organization, so it would be fascinating to see how Simmons would interact with other members of the team upon his possible return.
Of course, until Simmons actually reports to the Sixers, nothing is set in stone.
