With the 2020 NBA Draft scheduled for next month, plenty of people feel that LaMelo Ball is the top prospect who will be available on the board.

Ball revealed that he’s already talked to two teams with lottery picks while a guest on ESPN’s “Jalen & Jacoby.”

“I think that was just two teams, just [New York] Knicks and [Golden State] Warriors, and that was just like a little Zoom call,” said Ball.

The younger brother of the New Orleans Pelicans’ Lonzo Ball, the younger Ball verbally committed to play for the University of California, Los Angeles when he was just 13.

Instead, he spent the last couple of years playing for a few different teams, including Prienai of the Lithuanian Basketball League and the Illawarra Hawks of the National Basketball League in Australia.

The younger Ball’s ability to hit outside shots, handle the ball and create for teammates as a 6-foot-8 point guard makes him an intriguing prospect.

However, some wonder if he’s more hype than substance, since his father LaVar is known as a massive one-man promotion machine.
