Watt is a three-time Defensive Player of the Year and is looking for a fresh start with a contender late in his NFL career.

While the Cardinals missed the playoffs last season, they have a solid young offensive core led by Hopkins and quarterback Kyler Murray.

Arizona could use some help on defense if it wants to contend for a Super Bowl.

The Cardinals were in the middle of the pack last year defensively, but they did allow the 11th-most rushing yards in the league during the 2020 season.

Watt could help bring some veteran leadership and talent to the Cardinals’ defensive front next season.

While Hopkins may want his former teammate in Arizona, Watt will likely have several suitors this offseason.
