The Kansas City Chiefs were unsure if they would have starting center Daniel Kilgore for Sunday’s Super Bowl showdown due to his close contact with a barber who tested positive for COVID-19.

However, on Saturday, it was announced that he’s been cleared to play for the big game.

Beyond that, every player on the Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers has tested negative for the highly infectious disease this week.

The Super Bowl this season will mark a major achievement for the NFL. Though things looked shaky at times during the regular season, as several teams struggled through COVID-19 outbreaks, the playoffs have gone off without a hitch.

It looks like that will be the case for the championship game.

Surely, the Chiefs are ecstatic to know that star quarterback Patrick Mahomes will have Kilgore on the offensive line while going against the Bucs’ star-studded defense.
