TMZ Sports has reported that two of the Kansas City Chiefs’ top talents on the offensive side of the ball — Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce — had their homes burglarized back in October. Mahomes and Kelce both reside in the Kansas City area.

Cops were made aware of the burglary at Mahomes’ Belton, Mo. home at approximately midnight on Oct. 6, per documents that TMZ Sports obtained from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Kelce’s home got broken into just hours after Mahomes’ did on Oct. 7, which also just happened to be the day when the Chiefs faced off against the New Orleans Saints in a Monday night matchup.

It’s not known exactly what was stolen from Mahomes’ home, or if anything was stolen at all. Police have said that they’re still investigating the burglary of Mahomes’ residence. However, in regards to Kelce’s house, his back door was reportedly damaged and about $20,000 in cash was taken. Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift both stayed in a hotel the night of the burglary.

Mahomes and Kelce have been significant parts of the Chiefs’ fantastic 2024 regular season thus far. The former has racked up 2,208 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns and 118 first downs passing across nine starts for the Chiefs to this point.

As for Kelce, while he’s still an elite talent at the tight end position, there have been moments throughout the campaign where it looks like Father Time is catching up to him. He has accumulated less than 40 receiving yards in four of the nine games he’s played in.

Kelce is getting to be a bit long in the tooth, as he’s 35 years old and has played an excess of 10 seasons in the league. But he’s still capable of turning back the clock and carving out big receiving games, as he proved in Kansas City’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back on Nov. 4.

In the Chiefs’ six-point victory, he totaled a season-high 100 receiving yards on 14 receptions, and his longest reception was for an impressive 20 yards.

The tight end played well in Kansas City’s most recent game — which was against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 10 — as well. He finished with 64 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.
