New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston got some revenge on his former team when he connected on a 56-yard touchdown pass in the Saints’ divisional playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Winston was the top overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft and spent five seasons with the Buccaneers before heading to the Saints during the offseason.
While there was some debate about whether Winston would be back for the 2020 campaign, his fate was officially sealed when the Bucs signed free agent signal-caller Tom Brady.
During the 2020-21 season, Winston has largely served as a backup for veteran Drew Brees, but had seen action in four contests.
With Brees expected to retire at the end of the season, the door is open for Winston to get his career back on track as the new starting quarterback of the Saints. Efforts that lead to scores are an effective way to help make that reality.
