This offseason, there are sure to be plenty of rumors regarding the future of Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal.

Though the Wizards have yet to signal a willingness to trade their star, many around the league believe that may soon change.

It appears the Boston Celtics will be targeting the sharpshooter this summer one way or another.

“Multiple league sources anticipate Washington’s Bradley Beal will be a primary target for Boston this summer,” wrote A. Sherrod Blakely of Bleacher Report.

Beal, 27, would garner a ton of offers if he requested a trade.

The Wizards have been underperforming this year. They’re the No. 12 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-29 record.

On the season, Beal is collecting 31.3 points, 5.0 boards and 4.8 assists per game. The All-Star is leading the league in points per game.

As for the Celtics, they’re not playing like a team that made the Eastern Conference Finals last year. They hold a 23-24 record.

While the Celtics are struggling this season, they would earn a huge bump in production and leadership with the potential acquisition of Beal. As a matter of fact, Celtics star Jayson Tatum has shared his desire to play alongside Beal.
