According to a report, multiple executives around the NBA believe that Chicago Bulls guard Coby White could be traded.

“A couple of executives around the league I spoke to believe that Coby White is a trade candidate for the Bulls because he was a part of the old regime, and he’ll move to that bench role as a combo guard,” Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported during a podcast appearance.

White was a first-round pick by the Bulls, but it sounds like the Bulls might be ready to move on from him. He has completed just two seasons at the NBA level.

So far, the youngster has career averages of 14.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest. He’s a 40.6 percent shooter from the field and 35.7 percent shooter from 3-point land.

The 21-year-old certainly seems to have a fair amount of potential, and it’ll be interesting to monitor whether or not some more trade rumors start swirling around him in the near future.

White has not yet played in the 2021-22 campaign. He’s recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
