According to a report, Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons may have just taken another step in signaling that his time with the Sixers is essentially over.

The three-time All-Star reportedly listed his Philadelphia residence for sale on Sunday.

“In what could be another sign that Ben Simmons is serious about not returning to the Philadelphia area, the 76ers point guard put one of his residences up for sale and according to sources discussed the possibility of selling the other one,” wrote Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

“His place at The Ritz-Carlton Residences of Philadelphia was listed on Sunday for $3.1 million.”

Simmons remains adamant about not playing another game for the Sixers.

Interestingly, in a recent development, there were rumors about the 25-year-old potentially reporting to training camp in order to receive a part of his salary for this season. However, if he were to do that, he would reportedly maintain that he is unable to compete due to an injury.

If he were to report to camp, it doesn’t seem like that would indicate any sort of change in his desire to leave the organization.

To many fans, it seems like the Simmons era in Philadelphia is never going to end. There will surely be a resolution in due time.

The former first-round pick is still a solid NBA player despite everything that has gone down over the past few months. Wherever he lands, he will likely make a big impact.
