Last month, it was reported that the NBA was creating an anonymous hotline so that people within the NBA’s bubble could report potential protocol violations related to preventing the spread of COVID-19.
According to a Tuesday report, the hotline has already been put into use multiple times.

Since NBA players entered the bubble in Orlando, Fla. last week, several players have already been handed punishments for breaking safety protocols.
Whether or not either of these extended quarantines was a result of other players using the anonymous hotline to report the infractions is unclear. What is clear is that the NBA is taking safety incredible seriously.
With the 2019-20 restart getting started in two weeks, all eyes will be on the bubble to see if those inside remain healthy and free of the novel coronavirus.
Only time will tell if players continue to break protocol as they struggle with the new restrictions placed on them by the league.
