Beverley’s frustration over watching his season coming to an end was undoubtedly the basis for the push of Paul, who was sent sprawling to the ground.
The incident took place during the fourth quarter of a game in which Paul’s Phoenix Suns held a comfortable lead over Beverley’s Los Angeles Clippers.
Just prior to the push, the two players passed each other while headed to their respective benches. That push resulted in Beverley’s ejection from the game.

Paul and the Suns are more focused on their upcoming appearance in the NBA Finals, which will mark the first time for Paul.
The Suns will face either the Milwaukee Bucks or the Atlanta Hawks.
