Washington Wizards star guard John Wall reportedly was not happy about the Wizards potentially shopping him this offseason.

Washington reportedly discussed a deal for Houston Rockets star Russell Westbrook, but nothing has materialized to this point.

However, Wizards general manager Tommy Sheppard recently said that the team has “no plans” to trade Wall ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Wall missed all of the 2019-20 campaign as he recovered from an Achilles injury.

While he and star Bradley Beal have been a solid duo in Washington, Wall’s health has certainly hurt their ceiling together.

However, with the five-time All-Star point guard finally healthy, Sheppard seems to believe that Wall and Beal can get the Wizards back in the postseason.

For his career, Wall has averaged 19.0 points and 9.2 assists per game.
