Wide receiver Stefon Diggs has found himself in some off-the-field drama before he’s even played a single game with his new team, the New England Patriots. A video of Diggs holding an unidentified pink substance while surrounded by multiple women on a boat has gone viral on social media.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel has already commented on the clip. He didn’t reveal what he’s said to Diggs about the matter but claimed that the video is something that the Patriots are “aware of.”
Diggs appears to be in a relationship with rapper Cardi B, and she allegedly took exception to his antics on the boat.
“Despite Cardi B also enjoying the party onboard, the ‘I Like It’ hitmaker was left seething by her NFL beau’s antics, a source revealed to the Daily Mail,” Russ Weakland wrote.
A source explained that the rapper does not want to see her partner flirting with other women.
“Cardi for her part, whether she is there or not, doesn’t want her man flirting with any ladies,” the source said. “Girls will throw themselves on him all the time, but she wishes he wouldn’t be a scumbag and flirt back.”
The source cited Cardi B’s relationship issues in the past and noted that the rapper doesn’t want to continue such a trend with Diggs.
“Cardi has had her fair share of relationship issues, and she doesn’t want it to continue with Stefon,” the source continued. “And now that the video went viral, she is really frustrated with him that he would allow that to happen.”
The source also said that Diggs should “know better” than to allow the video in question to be filmed and go viral.
“He should know better, the fact that he didn’t realize what was going on around him is embarrassing and she is mad at him,” the source said.
On the field, Diggs is hoping that he can help the Patriots get back to being one of the elite teams in the NFL. New England has won a whopping six Super Bowls during its time as a franchise, but ever since quarterback Tom Brady’s time as a Patriot ended, the team has struggled to remain relevant. It won just four games in the 2024 season.
Maybe the additions of Diggs and Vrabel are just what the Patriots need to be contenders once again in the 2025 season. The Patriots’ last playoff appearance came back in the 2021 season, when they won 10 of their 17 regular-season contests, and a young Mac Jones was the team’s starting quarterback.
Hopefully for Diggs and Cardi B, they’ll be able to work past this situation before it becomes something bigger, which is likely what the Patriots are also hoping for.
