The Philadelphia Eagles are going through a major shift at quarterback right now.

Rookie Jalen Hurts has been starting over former first-round pick Carson Wentz, and it seems the Eagles want to give Hurts the chance to finish the season out strong.

That appears to include opening the door for a possible return for star receiver DeSean Jackson.

Jackson was once one of the more dangerous speedsters in the NFL. At 34 years old, his best days are certainly behind him.

Still, he could offer either Hurts or Wentz an added offensive weapon.

So far this season, Jackson has hauled in just 13 catches for 155 yards in four appearances.

The Eagles have two games left on their schedule. They’re facing the Dallas Cowboys this weekend and then close out the season against the Washington Football Team.

It will be interesting to see if Jackson can get on the field for either of those games against divisional rivals.
