Thompson, 30, suffered a torn Achilles injury in November.

The former All-Star also suffered a torn ACL during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. That injury forced the veteran to miss the entire 2019-20 campaign.

Of course, the latest injury news devastated the Warriors’ franchise. Two-time MVP Stephen Curry even admitted to crying when he heard the awful diagnosis.

Thompson has been a huge part of the Warriors’ three title runs since 2015. He has career averages of 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
