On Friday, the NBA announced the winner of the coveted MVP award for the 2019-20 season.

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo was named MVP for the second time in as many years.

Antetokounmpo dominated throughout the season and led the Bucks to the best record in the NBA.

During the regular season, the star forward averaged 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

Unfortunately for him and his teammates, the dominance they showed in the regular season did not translate to the playoffs.

After beating the Orlando Magic easily in the first round of the playoffs, they hit a brick wall in the second round versus the Miami Heat. They lost that series, 4-1.

Surely, Antetokounmpo is happy to win his second career MVP.

With that being said, there’s no doubt that his sights are already set on claiming the first championship of his storied NBA career next season.
