Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill missed the team’s Wednesday practice due to an illness, though the malady is not connected to any COVID-19 concerns.

The 26-year-old Hill has been selected to play in the Pro Bowl in each of his first four seasons in the NFL and is having another standout campaign in 2020.

In 12 games for the Chiefs this season, Hill has caught 74 passes for 1,079 yards and has a league-high 13 touchdown receptions.

The tandem of Hill and quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been one of the keys in helping make the Chiefs strong contenders to defend their Super Bowl title.

After 12 games, the Chiefs have an 11-1 record and enter Sunday’s road game against the Miami Dolphins in the midst of a seven-game winning streak.

The matchup against the Dolphins will pit the Chiefs against a resurgent team that finished last season with a 5-11 record, but is now in strong contention for a playoff berth.
