It appears as though the Los Angeles Clippers are planning on signing big man DeMarcus Cousins.
Sources: Cousins is in LA and is starting testing protocols to join the Clippers. He is former teammates of Rajon Rondo (New Orleans, Sacramento)/Patrick Patterson (Kentucky, Sacramento), played with Kawhi Leonard in past All-Star games, and adds depth to Clippers’ frontcourt. https://t.co/8GVp2HAS8E

Cousins, 30, started the season with the Houston Rockets.
However, the veteran had a tough time fitting into the rotation in Houston. Furthermore, the Rockets went into full rebuild mode and plummeted in the standings following the James Harden trade.
On the season, Cousins is putting up a career-low 9.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. He has struggled to find his former All-Star status after major injuries in recent years.
Nonetheless, Cousins could rejuvenate his career as the Clippers compete for a championship. The organization recently acquired point guard Rajon Rondo, who has played with Cousins in the past.
The Clippers own a 32-17 record.
